Cooking class at TNTF

A NOTE FROM OUR FRIEND KOFFEE:
Today was full and warming. I am so grateful for the relationship that I have built with Heidi from @truenorthtofreedom her mission and intention have set a tone for me in my pursuit of standing in the gap as the matriarch God intended me to be. What a wonderful mentor and friend she has been, holding me accountable to my intention as a soldier in the army of the lord.
I stopped by church today to bring awareness to food as medicine in the form of good ol' chicken soup, just in time for the first winter storm in Michigan this season. My heart and so many bellies are full as a result and I’m grateful I was blessed with the ability to teach and to learn.
If you or anyone you know may have been victimized by sexual assault, domestic violence or human trafficking please reach out to @truenorthtofreedom as they are doing great restorative work as far as bringing Gods children back to his side after they have experienced hardship. God knows I need reassurance for everything that I do because of my own experiences and he continues to provide. The photo  was an expression of gratitude from someone present in the class. 🥹🥹🥹
I never hide the fact that I am a survivor (of so many things) but I know it is important that I reiterate that survival requires a village and that we hold ourselves accountable to being that.
Thanks again for the opportunity Heidi!!!

Ladies Blessings Brunch

TNTF was recently blessed by Almont Vineyard Church with a Blessings Brunch and Silent Auction that raised just over $1,000 along with hundreds of dollars worth of  items ranging from toiletries to paper products and pantry stable foods, canned goods, cereals, gift cards and everything in between.  We even had several women express interest in volunteering for our organization. Many thanks go out to the Women’s Ministry of AVC for blessing our survivors and the TNTF ministry.
